Jury Of Fears Makes a Classic Their Own With "Paint It Black "

 By Coren McLeod

Jury Of Fears

What a difference a year can make.  The humble beginnings of a band coming together and deciding what kind of music they should make.

I can honestly say Chicago's own melodic death metal band Jury Of Fears has been my inspiration since the 1st time I met this phenomenal group of talented musicians.

Jury Of Fears has been that wake up within the metal scene of the Chicagoland area.  Their 1st single #Deadbeat took off like fire being played all over Rock Rage Radio....  Including radio stations in Texas, Pennsylvania and even Australia!!!  The Aussies love JOF!

Their live shows only displays their dedication to their metal craft.  Energetic....  Hardcore and fierce....  Jury Of Fears has made many stand up and say #Fuckyeah to making rock alive again!
Some fans have said:  Aweeeeeeeeeesome..... Support this amazing band. Super talented. Super legit.
So....  Now a new challenge has emerged!  After playing countless shows and getting their sound down to perfection, on May 11th, 2018 Jury Of Fears will be releasing by popular demand, their cover of The Rolling Stones' classic #PaintitBlack...

I personally have always loved this song especially with the eerie subject matter it refers to.  I am proud to say I have heard the cover done by Jury Of Fears and it hits so aggressively on so many levels!!!!

Justin the leading force with his husky vocals brings a haunting vibe to the song...  Listen to the mere ending of the song where Justin is singing "la la la la..." It gives me goosebumps each time and I fucking love it.

Shea....  This guy always impresses me...  A gentle soul yet such a demon playing his #espguitar with his earGram plugs in his ears.  Shea is one hell of a composer.  And it's on full display on #paintitblack...

A lingering bass line provided by the humble Mike provides an opportunity to shine through on this cover.  He wails with a subtle hint of greatness.   Well done Mike!

Now there's the evil.  The #badass take no prisoners drummer which is Stefan.  I'll throw it out there and say Jimmy Chamberlain is my favorite drummer.  Yet, Stefan has been placed in my top 5...  I floored by his timing and hard-hitting beats in #paintitblack.  Listen closely to a small solo he plays.  It’s astounding!

So...  Go to Jury Of Fears Facebook and their event page to catch the brand-new music video for #paintitblack done by Rob Harwood.

The world will be chanting #paintitblack once you open your ears to how Jury Of Fears made a classic their own!!!
